Following an 18 month-long process and a unanimous vote by our governing body, the Assembly, it was agreed that RPS should move to a structure that better supports its professional leadership activities and ambition. In September 2024 we shared draft proposals on RPS seeking to become a royal college, a charity and create a wholly owned (limited) subsidiary for publishing activities and we hosted a series of roadshow events across GB and online to discuss these and gather feedback.
We have now published the proposed changes to the Royal Charter. You can find a written copy of the proposed changes to the Royal Charter on our website, alongside a range of other documents and information to help everyone to understand the proposed changes.
Listen to a recording of this webinar which provided more details about the proposed Charter changes and what they mean. This recording only covers the presentation given and you can find the updated FAQ on the change proposals website hub.
