Women’s health

Many women’s health issues are associated with stigma, which may result in women feeling uncomfortable to openly discuss them and lead to tolerance of abnormal symptoms, reducing quality of life. Pharmacists and their teams understand the needs and challenges of women in their local areas and in the workplace and can help reduce stigma and address health inequalities through a range of services.

Here are some resources on women’s health to support pharmacists and their teams to improve awareness of issues like excessive menstrual bleeding, contraception and menopause.
