The World Health Organization (WHO) in co-operation with major international agencies involved with humanitarian and developmental aid (including the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies) has published guidance titled Guidelines for medicine donations that provides clear guidelines for the donation of medicine. We encourage any pharmacist considering donating medicines to read the document and adhere to the guidelines.
