Josh Miller is an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist currently working in admissions and urgent care at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2018 and went on to complete his MSc in Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Practice at Queen’s University Belfast in 2021.

Josh has a strong clinical interest in diabetes, endocrinology, and respiratory medicine. He has successfully led pharmacist-run clinics and outpatient initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to advancing patient care through innovative practice.

His involvement with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) began as a student champion and has since evolved through participation in various short-life working groups and expert advisory bodies. He joined the RPS Scottish Pharmacy Board in 2022 contributing to strategic discussions and advocacy for the profession.

Josh was recently awarded his Core Advanced credentialing and is currently undertaking an MPhil focused on supporting and developing new prescribers. He is enthusiastic about the transition to the Royal College of Pharmacy and remains dedicated to promoting the vital role of pharmacists and the exceptional work being done across Scotland."
