Jonathan Burton

Scottish Pharmacy Board and RPS Assembly

Jonathan is a community pharmacist based in Stirling with the Right Medicine Pharmacy group. He provides NHS Pharmacy First Plus IP clinic services and supports other pharmacists with their IP training and practice through his Designated Prescribing Practitioner, training and mentoring roles.

Through his career he has been closely involved with the inception, development and delivery of Pharmacy First services in Scotland.

His main interests in practice are management of dermatology & ENT conditions, pharmacy based public health services and healthcare for adolescents and young adults.

He is an RPS Fellow, was awarded an MBE for services to healthcare in 2018 and was the recipient of the RPS Charter Award in 2022.
