Professional experience and particular interests:

Ewan is Head of Medicines Optimisation at Sunderland CCG, Interim Integrated Care System Lead Pharmacist for the North East and North Cumbria, and Chair of the ICB Chief Pharmacists Network.

He has worked in community pharmacy, acute care, mental health and primary care in both Scotland and the North East of England. He is a past Vice President of the Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists.

Ewan also has a MSc in Healthcare Management and is a qualified independent prescriber, having specialised in emergency and critical care during his time in the acute sector.
