Associate Director for Communications and Marketing

A strategic communications, marketing and brand professional, Liz has a significant track record of leading teams and developing organisational and communications strategy. Liz spent much of her career in the charitable sector including in leadership roles at Macmillan Cancer Support, YouthNet and CLIC Sargent, before moving into the professional leadership body sector more than eight years ago, via a contract role at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as Director of Media and PR, followed by stints leading external affairs at the Royal College of Podiatry, and communications, marketing, digital and brand at the Institute of Physics.

Liz is passionate about the role of communications in helping to deliver organisational strategy and is skilled at developing and delivering integrated, multi-channel communications, content and marketing strategies and campaigns. Liz has particular experience of ensuring that an organisation’s brand is well articulated and its voice effective and influential.

An experienced Trustee of national charities and a former school governor, Liz joined RPS in late 2023.
