RPS highlights the dangers of SARMs

RPS Director for Scotland Laura Wilson and English Pharmacy Board Member Thorrun Govind were on various media outlets today, including BBC World News, BBC Breakfast and BBC Radio 5 Live, highlighting the dangers of buying and using selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs) and why the laws around the selling of SARMs should be tightened.

SARMs are body-enhancing drugs, similar to anabolic steroids, which increase muscle mass and strength, but are only legal to buy for research purposes in the UK and are still under investigation for their long-term safety and potential health risks.
