We have received a few enquiries for career support this week, including:

Clinical Queries

We regularly get clinical questions, including:

  • Are there any interactions between oxcarbazepine and atovaquone/proguanil and doxycycline?

Controlled Drugs

Controlled drugs (CD) queries are quite common. This week we have had CD enquiries relating to:

  • Can CD instalments be ordered on an FP10 form instead of FP10MDA and can the approved Home Office wording for instalment prescriptions be used on an FP10?

Wholesaling

We have received a few enquiries about wholesaling this week, including:

  • Can I supply medicines to a master of ship from a community pharmacy?
  • Can I supply medicines to a veterinary college if my hospital pharmacy has a wholesale dealer's licence?
  • Do I need a wholesale dealer's licence to supply medicines to doctors working in a football club?
