Starting university is a big moment – new people, new surroundings and the start of your journey into pharmacy. Welcome weeks are designed to help you feel part of your university and we want to make sure you also feel part of your professional community from the very beginning.
At the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS), we’re here to support you throughout your studies and beyond. This year, we’ve working in partnership with the British Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (BPSA) to deliver a joint welcome week roadshow, reaching more universities and students across Great Britain than ever before.
You may have met our Engagement Leads and Regional Ambassadors on campus — they’ve been visiting universities to speak with you directly and answer your questions.
What we’ve been sharing with you
To make sure every student can hear about the benefits of RPS membership, we created a flexible set of resources – from in-person sessions to a short pre-recorded session you can watch back at any time.
As an RPS student member, you’ll have access to:

- The Pharmaceutical Journal online
- Discounts of 25% or more on all Pharmaceutical Press titles, including FASTtrack books covering the main areas of study for your degree
- Career development tools, from ORIEL guidance to our mentoring platform
- RPS Member-Only email newsletters, webinars and events
